Erin Lindsley Thomson is a psychotherapist, mindfulness educator, and mindfulness coach. She offers online mindfulness courses and coaching, as well as individual therapy at a private practice in Utah.
She received her Master of Social Work degree from Utah State University in 2023 and her BS degree from Brigham Young University in 2006. Erin has been a mindfulness instructor since 2019 and completed training at the Brown University School of Public Health to become a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Level 1 Instructor in 2022.
Erin has taught mindfulness classes to 6th grade, junior high, and high school students, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction at the Davis Mindfulness Center, and her own mindfulness courses in person and online. She has been actively involved in community prevention and education efforts.
Erin is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She has found a deeper connection to God through mindfulness and meditation. She is the keynote presenter for the Rest in Radiance Retreat, a women's retreat that incorporates meditation and mindfulness principles with those of the LDS faith.
Erin is married to her husband, James, and they have four wonderful children. Erin loves to play the piano and enjoys attending outdoor symphonies. She is active with yoga, running, high fitness, and barre. Her favorite hobbies with her family include hiking, reading Harry Potter ("snuggle with a muggle"), traveling, kayaking at the lake, and movie night. Erin is besties with her sourdough starter and can’t get enough salty bread (hello Pretzelmaker full-sized soft pretzels dipped in jalapeño cheese). Her favorite drinks are hot water, large ice water from Chick-fil-a, and Cream Soda Olipop.
